Transactions screen allows you to record Bank Transactions other than the cheques which are issued using Quick Cheque. You can record Withdrawals and Deposits so as to have your Bank Book up to date and your Bank Balance tracked. Follow the below mentioned steps in order to record the Bank Transactions.

Lite Edition

This functionality is applicable to only Premium & Enterprise Editions. You can contact our sales team on [email protected] in case you are using the Free or Lite Edition and would like to upgrade it.

Premium Edition

Adding Transaction

  1. Login to Quick Cheque and Navigate to the Transactions screen.
  2. Click the Add button in order to record a new transactions. A small pop up window opens asking for the below mentioned key inputs. Kindly note that the mandatory fields are having a Yellow Background and must be entered in order to save the Transaction.
    • Party Name ► Select the party name from the Party dropdown menu or type the name of the party this will add party to for which you want to issue a cheque.
    • Beneficiary Name ► Select the beneficiary name from the dropdown menu.
    • Account # ► Select the account from the Account # dropdown menu.
    • Reference # ► Enter a reference # in order to keep a track for the transactions which you are making.
    • Transaction Type ► Select a transaction type from the dropdown menu. Transaction type will classify the transaction which you are making viz Cash, Other Cheque, Wire Transfer etc.
    • Amount ► Enter the amount for the transaction which you are making.
    • Date ► Select a date to make the transaction.
    • Print Voucher ► Print Voucher checkbox lets you to create payment/receipt voucher for the bank transactions. You can view vouchers for transactions later in Voucher Listing screen.
    • Deposit / Withdrawal ► Select Deposit / Withdrawal to classify the transaction as deposit or withdrawal.
  3. Click the Save button to save the Transaction.

Editing Transaction

You can Edit as well as Delete all Bank Transactions except the ones which have the transaction types as Cheque or having the reconciled flag as true. For editing or deleting a Bank Transaction follow the below steps.

  1. Navigate to the Transactions screen and click the Edit Button or double click the record to Edit the same. You can Delete the transaction directly by clicking the Delete button
  2. Make the necessary changes to the transaction.
  3. Click the Save button.

Enterprise Edition

  1. Follow the same steps as for the Premium Edition.
